Can Beauty be only Skin Deep? POSITIVELY!!!!

Hi All,

Hopefully it helps because last night in the club room many of us were transformed into real babes during a Chocolate Spa which Shannon and her mom hosted. We were treated to special hand rubs, facials, soothing eye treatments and breathng exercises to the background of soothing, tranquil music. If that wasn't enough, we were then offered very tempting, and I'm told, very delicious chocolate treats. I am dieting -- again! I was really good. But I digress. I'm guessing there will be some very special pictures popping up either on this blog or in next month's newsletter. If you weren't there you can see what you were missing and if you were -- hopefullly no one will recognize you in the disguise.

All of us ladies, and some of you men, have been to these types of things before or tried a new cream or makeup in the store and believed it was going to make a difference. We all did believe last night, as evidenced by the brisk sales. And they all do seem to be really terrific products. Even if just for a short time, we have hope for what we might be and want to be and believe that we can look and feel better. And, if you are diligent enough and positive enough, YOU WILL SEE A DIFFERENCE and so will everyone else.

As the old Bing Crosby song says:

You've got to accentuate the positive
Eliminate the negative
Latch on to the affirmative
Don't mess with Mister In-Between
You've got to spread joy up to the maximum
Bring gloom down to the minimum
Have faith or pandemonium
Liable to walk upon the scene
We do live in paradise. Ask anybody who just got here from up North. We live in the best place on the beach. Our building is wonderful and it has never been in better condition. Are there a few aging spots? Sure. But none that can't be fixed by a little bit of magic cream.
See ya at the gym.

It was a nice time last night and I hope all you ladies that attended enjoyed yourself. It was nice yet again to spend non-working time with each of you. I real enjoy all of you on a work basis and pleasure basis. I think of you in a family-friend term instead of what I originally came to The Grand Coquina for (a job). I have never experienced such warm and geniune people and treatment. I love you all so much and hold you very dear. shannon

I agree with the statement that we live in paradise in the Grand Coquina! We were especially pleased with the appearance of our front door after the painting was completed. I guess we are most appreciative because our unit (1802) is up for sale. As an investment, we did a preconstructive buy on a bigger unit in the Twin Towers. Our children enjoy "paradise" also which motivated us to get a bigger unit. We are original owners of 1802 and have never rented (we used it only on weekends as a get-away) so it is in pristine shape. Do you have friends or family that want to join you in paradise? Contact our own Sandra Yearwood (767-2201) to see our unit. We have priced it to sell.

Dear Randee, This blog idea is great. Did you think of it yourself?

Dear Anonymous,
Thank you for saying this is a great idea but obviously I did not invent blogging. It is a widespread activity used by millions of people today. I have been working on my own blog for several months. I encourage everybody to do it. It's fun.

If you would like me to answer specific questions, please sign your name after your comment.

Thanks,
Randee

Hi Randy, That question was sarcasm,I apologise You and I both know you stole the idea from me and I have documented evidence which I will share with any interested party. I am sure Larry is well aware of the power of the printed word when controlled exclusivly by one person or family. Be nice start a "Buzz" for your close friends and leave Grand Coquina business to our full board and manager. Larry spent 3 years of dedicated service as President to go out dragged into a disgusting duel with a neighbor. You are setting up an easier arena for similar happenings. I have informed the other board members of the danger of your type of blog and hope they will address the subject at the next meeting.

Randee, we love your blog, no matter what this unhappy person seems to think. Keep it up.

Why would this "unhappy person" with such strong feelings wish to remain ANONYMOUS?

Dear Bloggers, I enjoy Randee's Blog every morning. I also am very jealous of the GC residents and the wonderful lifestyle you all are enjoying. If I can get my own newly married kids(2 weddings in one year and a new grandchild) to be less needy I would be at the GC in a minute. 404 does have new renters so please seek them out and give them your warm regards. My husband is enjoying working after retirement up in CT and we are unsure about when he will lose interest. He is a Speech Therapist and loves working with kids. They love working with him because he is their substitute grandfather. Too much information is never a problem. Please bloggers keep blogging and those who do not like this form of communication- try it. 404 Jan Wolf
